Blue & White Fatigue + State of Baseball

Brent and Daniele hit the final hour with some Maple Leafs offseason talk. The hosts welcome on Gord Stellick, former General Manager turned analyst, to look at the moves Toronto has made so far, the ceiling of this group, and what to make of their player and asset management. They also take some time to discuss Mitch Marner’s move to Vegas and Easton Cowan's expectations for heading into next year. Later on, Tim Britton (26:00), senior writer at The Athletic, gives his thoughts following the MLB All-Star festivities in Atlanta. Tim chats about the state of baseball right now, the quickly approaching trade deadline, integrating the ABS system, and how necessary a salary cap is. They close with some of the marquee names available at the deadline and some specific targets the Jays should be looking at to bolster their pitching staff.
