Blue Jays Win Series Opener + McDavid Speaks

Ben Ennis and Sam McKee open today's edition of the program breaking down the Blue Jays' 3-2 win to open their series against the Nationals. They dive into why even their victories continue to feel like a grind, Max Scherzer's return to the mound and future role, the value of the bullpen, and whether players like Luis Urías and Myles Straw deserve more playing time. They also examine Jeff Hoffman's resurgence, as well as Eric Lauer departure and who's responsible for how it unfolded. Later, the guys react to Connor McDavid's comments at Zach Hyman's charity golf tournament about his new coach, Mike Babcock. The boys take a closer look at Babcock's hiring, his fit with the Oilers, McDavid's remarks about Gavin McKenna playing in Toronto, and McDavid's serious public persona.
