Blue Jays Walk Off Phillies + Canes Even the Series
Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning kick off Wednesday morning by recapping the Blue Jays walk off victory over the Phillies last night. The boys discuss the sustainability of Toronto's style of play, Louis Varland giving up a run for the first time in a over a month, and Dylan Cease showing no signs of rust in his return. They also touch of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. moving up to bat leadoff and Jesús Sánchez' underrated season so far. After the break, the guys turn their attention towards the Hurricanes Game 4 victory over the Golden Knights. Are we watching one of the best Stanley Cup Finals on record? They examine Brandon Bussi's performance in goal, who will start between the pipes in Game 5, and which team has the edge heading into a best-of-three. Ben and Brent close out the morning with the Subaru Golf report looking at the featured groups from the opening round of the Canadian Open.
