Blue Jays Get the Playoff Experience in L.A.

Ben and Brent are back on Monday with thoughts on the Blue Jays and their weekend in L.A. The hosts dive into their series against the Dodgers that was very reminiscent of postseason baseball. The duo discuss how Toronto handled the challenge and take a closer look into the finale of the series, where the Jays managed to avoid the sweep with a dramatic comeback win. They get into the importance of that victory and some of the players who had key moments in the game, including Vlad Guerrero Jr., Ernie Clement, Eric Lauer, Mason Fluharty and Jeff Hoffman. B&B also break down the Jays’ current bullpen situation and how to best utilize those arms. Later, the boys check in on the first leg of the PGA playoffs that featured more heartbreak for golf’s loveable loser, Tommy Fleetwood, and a win for veteran Justin Rose. They also chat about the weekend that was in the NFL preseason with Shedeur Sanders’ first start, Travis Hunter playing both sides of the ball, and a record-breaking field goal. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.
