Blue Jays Drop Series to Athletics with Jensen Lewis

Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning open Thursday morning by recapping the Blue Jays’ 2-0 loss to the Athletics. The guys focus on the team’s offensive struggles, Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s difficult season, and the lack of production throughout the lineup. They also highlight the bullpen’s strong performance and discuss Toronto’s Wild Card chances with 15 games remaining. After the break, former MLB reliever and host of By The Books, Jensen Lewis joins the show to discuss the Jays' recent loss, the state of the AL Wild Card race, Guerrero Jr.’s struggles, the challenges of finishing a long road trip, and the Jays’ playoff outlook. The guys also get Jensen’s thoughts on last night's return of NFL football.
