Blue Jays Collapse, Yankees Have Life & NHL Season Begins

Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning start Wednesday morning by recapping the Blue Jays' tough loss to the New York Yankees. They discuss how high they were feeling after the third inning, and how ironic it is that defensive miscues ultimately cost the team. The guys also chat about the decision to take out Shane Bieber in the third inning, the subsequent deployment of the bullpen, and how that could impact tonight's Game 4. Later, Ben and Brent take a look at the other series in the American League with Mariners moving within one game of the ALCS. Finally, they dive into Auston Matthews' comments yesterday about Connor McDavid’s extension and what it would mean for his next contract, before sharing some thoughts on Opening Night in the NHL!
