Blue Jays Camp Begins + Canada Gets by Switzerland

Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning kick off Tuesday by celebrating the return of Blue Jays baseball as workouts begin. They react to manager John Schneider's speech outlining expectations for the season and discuss whether fans should anticipate another deep playoff run after last year’s near-World Series victory. The conversation shifts to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. entering his first season without Bo Bichette, how expectations may have evolved following his postseason performance, and how the team plans to move past last year’s disappointment in what could be an AL East-or-bust campaign. They also break down Canada’s narrow semi-final win over Switzerland in the Olympic women’s hockey tournament, highlighted by a hobbled Marie-Philip Poulin, and preview the Gold medal matchup against the United States. The discussion wraps with a look at the men’s tournament bracket and the preferred path to the final.
