Matt Marchese and Mike Futa open Friday's show discussing Kris Knoblauch's extension to stay in Edmonton for three more years. Elliotte Friedman, Sportsnet NHL insider and host of 32 Thoughts, joins the guys to weigh in on the coach's new deal and if it could sway Connor McDavid's looming contract situation. They take a closer look at last night's physical preseason matchup between the Panthers and Lightning, what to expect from the Flames this season, and Jackson LaCombe's eight-year deal with the Ducks. Elliotte wraps up with his picks for some surprising teams heading into the 2025-26 season.
