MIND & BODY Pt 17: The Rise and Fall of the Erotic Thriller (1987 - 1995)

This week things get sleazy, steamy and very, very camp. Mike is joined by Catherine Bray to discuss some of the classic erotic thrillers of the 80s and 90s, including Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct and Showgirls.

Keep a look out for Catherine's upcoming long-form video essay for the BBC, GUILT FREE PLEASURES. For more of Catherine's essays, check out BBC INSIDE CINEMA, which includes her piece on THE EROTIC THRILLER.

Music by Jack Whitney.
