The expert aimed to demonstrate that the prosecution's method of counting calls between Donna and Charlie Adelson inflated the actual number of unique call events due to duplication. The Defense also argued that Donna's phone did not connect to a cell tower near Charlie's home on the day of the murder, attempting to mitigate the significance of her "I'm outside" text.
