Why I Walked Away From A Successful Career| Angela Burgess

Delve into our latest episode where Angela, our special guest, shares her inspiring journey. Growing up as a middle-class kid in Iowa, she harbored a burning desire to achieve something substantial in life. Despite double majoring in Spanish and Communication Studies in college, she unexpectedly found herself in a decades-long career in wealth management. In her early 30s, Angela experienced a pivotal moment, realizing that contributing to the wealth of others may not align with her life's calling. Taking a bold step, she transitioned to working for a nonprofit, leaving behind a career she had invested in for a decade. Despite skepticism, Angela took a 66% pay cut to pursue her newfound passion.
