Deshaun Watson Named Browns Starter (Gross), 49ers Jed York's Possible Prostitution, Texans Add WR

On this episode of The Drake Toll Show, Drake reacts to major developments around the NFL, college football, and MLB. Headlining the show, head coach Todd Monken officially names Deshaun Watson as the Cleveland Browns' QB1 over Shedeur Sanders, while Watson publicly apologizes for recent disrespectful remarks toward fans. Over in Houston, the Texans reinforce their offense by acquiring wide receiver Kayshon Boutte from the New England Patriots to mitigate the loss of Jayden Higgins to an ACL tear. Turning to the college gridiron, Drake breaks down the bizarre fallout from Lane Kiffin’s exit to LSU—including FBI bug sweeps at Ole Miss—and addresses the chaotic eligibility ruling surrounding tight end Dae'Quan Wright. Finally, the show examines the abrupt dismissal of Houston Astros GM Dana Brown despite the team holding first place, and wraps up with guest Steven Willis, host of the Locked on Ole Miss Podcast, to discuss the Rebels' offseason turmoil.
