Ep: 258 – Detroit Lions First 24 Hours Of Free Agency – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris is joined by Jeff ‘The Riz’ Risdon to break down the first 24 hours in the Detroit Lions Free Agency moves. Interesting pick-ups, trades, drops, and more. This Free Agency brings a little taste of everything for Bob Quinn’s Detroit Lions. Detroit Lions Podcast Analyzes Each Player We take an in-depth look at each player, including a Risdon favorite, Chase Daniel. We bring the broad information you are looking for on OT Halapoulivaati Vaitai and his 5-year $45 million deal. Chris blows the doubters away by pronouncing “Big V’s” name correctly every time… Jamie Collins was a huge signing at LB and with the addition of Duron Harmon, lovers of Isaiah Simmons are going to have to adjust to him landing elsewhere in the draft. We discuss the pickup of Desmond Trufant, and how he makes a top-tier #2 cornerback. The team also landed Danny Shelton, Nick Williams, Jayron Kearse and we discuss each. It looks like Bob Quinn has set this team up for picking an Ohio State defensive player in round 1 of this year’s NFL Draft. On the other side of the equation, the biggest news is that the Lions traded Darius Slay away. In the end it’s better that he’s no longer a Detroit Lion – see all the recent news about him. From there, we discuss Graham Glasgow, Jeff Driskel (both to the Broncos). J.D. McKissic and Logan Thomas heading to Washington, and A’Shawn Robinson heading to the Rams. Check Us Out On YouTube!
