Tom Penn joins the show and we owe Riqui Puig an apology!

We're honored to have the CEO of the new San Diego MLS franchise, Tom Penn, join the show! We've really raised The Cooligans' intelligence level with our last few guests (shoutout Franklin Leonard and KEVINCHO), so you know we had to keep the trend going! Tom Penn, CEO of the new San Diego MLS franchise and former owner of LAFC, stops by the show to discuss his new project and get a few marketing tips from Christian and Alexis. We touch on all the important points, including lounge chairs in the stands and Cali burritos in the concessions, as well as the new team's hope of building a vibrant soccer culture in San Diego. The guys also break down Tuesday's El Trafico win for LA Galaxy and give their thoughts on the shocking stabbing at the Gold Cup. What should CONCACAF do to stop this crazy violence? Let us know what you think in the comments! Exclusive content: https://www.patreon.com/SoccerCooligans This is where we put everything we shouldn't say 😉 Learn more about your ad choices.
