As children of immigrants, Maria Sanchez is living our dream!

It's a special interview edition of The Cooligans as Maria Sanchez, forward for the NWSL's Houston Dash and the Mexican women's national team, sits down with Christian for an incredible conversation! We were honored to have Maria join the show and take us through her journey as a Mexican-American professional soccer player! She discussed her difficult first stint in the NWSL and explained how a return to Mexico gave her perspective that has allowed her to thrive this time around with the Houston Dash. Maria also told us about her off-the-field interests, including her already fulfilled dream of paying off her parents' mortgage and unreasonable competitive drive while playing the FIFA video game. All this, plus a heartfelt moment shared between Christian and Maria as the children of immigrants, on an unmissable episode of The Cooligans!
