214 - Soccer Sin Barreras w/ Tommy Thompson

We are absolutely stoked to be joined by Tommy Thompson of the San Jose Earthquakes. Tommy has gotten a lot of praise this year, not just for what he's doing on the pitch, but what language he's speaking off of it. After the Argentine Matias Almeyda joined the club as head coach, Tommy took it upon himself to learn Spanish on the Duolingo app and now he is even doing interviews in Spanish as well. We also discuss the North London Derby and some Labor Day MLS Player's Union drama! Segment 1: It was laces out, Carli! Segment 2: [01:14:31] Interview w/ Tommy Thompson (@tomthom11) Today's Sponsor SeatGeek // Download the Seatgeek app and use the promo code COOLIGANS for $10 off your first purchase.
