The last government shutdown went on for 35 days and only ended only after US air travel was on the verge of massive disruption. That was only a partial shutdown too! Using 35 days as a barometer and the fact that it is a full shutdown at the time of writing, a 38% chance of the current shutdown ending on 15th October or afterwards seems quite compelling!
