E2404 | The 5 Daily Execution Rules to Rule Your Mind
Pick up my book The American Nightmare! => Click Here! In Today's Episode Welcome to Thursday on the Coach JV Podcast. Some things are strictly up to you; the rest was never yours to hold. All week long, we have been confronting the cost of trying to control things that were never yours to hold. On Monday, we broke down the cost of the overreacher who burns his energy on outside chaos. On Tuesday, we put force versus focus side-by-side to learn that your power is always in your response, never in the event. And yesterday, on Wednesday, we laid down the four rules of the Control Code: draw the line, pour into your side, release the other side, and accept the result. Today, we are putting boots on the ground with tactical daily execution. When fear or worry hits—like hearing rumors about layoffs at your job—you can't control the company's decision, but you can control your mindset, your preparation, and your discipline. Here are the five non-negotiable execution steps you need to practice today: Sort into two columns: Grab a piece of paper and write down two lists—what you can control and what you cannot control. Catch the worry: The second anxiety creeps in, stop and ask yourself: Is this even mine to carry? If it isn't, put it down. Drop one grip: Identify one outside outcome, opinion, or situation you've been clinging to and consciously release it today. Run your lane: Pour 100% of your energy strictly into your part—your attitude, your actions, your behaviors, and your effort. Close with acceptance: At the end of the day, say it out loud: I did my part. The rest is not mine to carry. Tomorrow, on Friday, we are wrapping up the entire week, recapping these lessons, and getting you ready to go out there and kick some ass for your family. Warrior's Rise!
