Build With ICF Podcast Episode 57 - Mike Cleary Quantum Panels: The Next Big Leap in ICF Construction

Hosts Trevor and Heather Brown welcome Michael Cleary — an ICF panelization pioneer — to discuss his path from hotel developer to innovator and the new Quantum large-format ICF panels. Michael explains how 8×8 and 8×12 one-piece panels with a unique hub system, horizontal and vertical furring, and snap-in attachments simplify installation, add R-value, and enable faster panelized construction. The episode covers real-world experience (multi-story hotel builds and NYC panelization), manufacturing breakthroughs that cut costs and shipping complexity, and how Quantum panels aim to speed projects, reduce labor, and open new options for exterior attachments and mechanical integration.
