Buck Brief - WNBA Knows What a Man is, But Not a Woman

The WNBA is facing new questions over its eligibility rules after Commissioner Cathy Engelbert responded to Republican lawmakers seeking clarity on how the league determines who can play. In her response, Engelbert said only women are eligible for the WNBA and stated that Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White are ineligible because they are “both men.” Buck Sexton breaks down the response and asks the question at the center of the controversy: If the league can determine who is a man, what exactly are its standards for determining who is eligible to compete as a woman?
