The Seed of the Woman: Why God Told the Enemy His Plan | The Seed War EP 1

The seed of the woman is promised in Genesis 3:15, and God announces it to the serpent before He says a word to Adam or Eve. The first gospel in the Bible is delivered to the enemy. This episode walks Genesis 3:15 line by line: the enmity God installs between two seeds, the single Hebrew verb used for both blows, and why a head wound and a heel wound are not the same injury. We cover the Septuagint's masculine pronoun and R. A. Martin's argument that it is the earliest messianic reading of the verse, centuries before Christ. We name the serpent seed doctrine, trace where it actually comes from, and explain why we do not build on it. Then Cain and Abel, Seth as replacement seed, Genesis 6 and the first incursion, and the narrowing of the promise from the whole human race down to one town.
