Hey non-premium people this is an episode of Rod's spin-off show "Medium Talk" where he interviews activist Tia Oso. Tia's family recently had their house destroyed in monsoon storm! There is a link to a Gofundme to help with the cost of taking care of her family and their house. Enjoy the episode and think about giving if you can. https://www.gofundme.com/MonstoonStormDestroysHome Rod talks to activist Tia Oso about her start in activism, social media, public debates in blackness, protesting at Netroots, intersectionality in activism and visibility. This was a lovely conversation that went on so long but passed by so quick. Tia is smart, engaging, funny and insightful. Talking to her felt like I’d known her forever. Hope you enjoy this conversation.
