Why the SEC's 9 game conference Schedule Shift Forces Big Ten to Level Up

In this episode of The Big Ten Huddle, hosts JR and Jeff break down the SEC's announcement of a 9-game conference schedule starting in 2026, emphasizing no divisions, protected rivalries, and mandatory high-quality non-conference games. They discuss how the Big Ten should respond by matching these changes, protecting West Coast rivalries, requiring power opponents, and potentially creating a Big Ten-SEC challenge to boost strength of schedule and playoff chances.
