DJ Vonnahme Is Becoming Iowa's MOST Important Offensive Weapon

Iowa football may have found its offensive answer in DJ Vonnahme. After the Iowa Hawkeyes beat Wisconsin 30-0, Tim Lester must build on what worked without Kamari Moulton. Can Hank Brown and Jeremy Hecklinski keep it going against Northwestern?

DJ Vonnahme scored two touchdowns against Washington and added both a receiving and rushing touchdown against Wisconsin. But Iowa's loss to Minnesota exposed how differently this offense performs when its playmakers aren't creating scoring opportunities.

On The Big Ten Huddle, JR explains why Vonnahme could become Iowa's most important offensive weapon, how Tim Lester can create better matchups, and why his role could help either quarterback. Plus, what Tony Diaz, Reece Vander Zee and the running game mean for Iowa's matchup with Northwestern.

Is DJ Vonnahme the missing piece Iowa's offense has needed, or does the answer still come down to quarterback play? Let us know in the comments!
