BRUTAL: The Big Ten's 2028 Schedule Could PUNISH Its Best Teams

Big Ten football could look completely different in 2028. Ohio State AD Ross Bjork says a new Big Ten football schedule could use last season’s standings, reshaping matchups for Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, Indiana, USC and Penn State.

Could the Big Ten's proposed 2028 schedule actually punish its best football teams for winning?

In this episode of The Big Ten Huddle, presented by FanDuel, JR breaks down Ross Bjork's comments about NFL-style scheduling, Tony Petitti's vision for more competitive games, and what these changes could mean for a potential 24-team College Football Playoff.

We examine how tougher schedules might affect Ohio State and other Big Ten contenders, why the transfer portal makes scheduling based on previous standings risky, and whether Big Ten teams will receive the same respect for difficult schedules that SEC programs often enjoy.

Would you rather see more heavyweight Big Ten matchups every Saturday, or should the conference protect competitive fairness?
