Gladiator

From The Best Movies You've Never Seen Trevor Long & Stephen Fenech

A loyal Roman general is betrayed by the emperor's jealous son, his family is murdered, and he is left for dead and sold into slavery. Forced to fight in the arena, he rises through the ranks of the gladiators with one goal in mind: to reach the Colosseum and take revenge on the man who destroyed everything he loved. It won Best Picture and made Russell Crowe a global star, and if you have never seen it, The Best Movies You've Never Seen, thanks to Fetch and Hisense, is giving you the perfect reason to do so.
