WARNING: Auburn’s Offense Is Officially a Problem | Auburn Football Podcast
Auburn Football has reached the bye week, and there is no avoiding the biggest question surrounding this team anymore: What is wrong with the offense? Five games into the season, Auburn continues to struggle to consistently produce points. For an offense led by Alex Golesh, that makes the situation even more frustrating. The offensive line has struggled, the running game has not consistently produced, Byrum Brown has missed opportunities in the passing game, and the play calling has not always done enough to compensate for Auburn’s weaknesses. Something has to change. The offensive line is clearly part of the problem, but Auburn’s coaching staff knows what this offensive line is at this point. That means the scheme has to adjust. Get the football out quicker. Find ways to neutralize pressure. Get the running backs into space. Put Byrum Brown in situations where his athleticism becomes an advantage instead of constantly asking him to escape trouble. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
