Auburn Spent BIG… But Did They Build It WRONG? | Auburn Football Podcast
Auburn football has resources. Auburn has invested in its roster. Now the Tigers have to answer the question that matters most: Are they actually getting their money’s worth? That question goes far beyond how much Auburn spent building this team. Player evaluation is becoming one of the biggest concerns surrounding Auburn at the bye week. The Tigers have players with physical talent, but talent alone doesn't guarantee production. Sometimes the better player is the running back with better vision and patience. Sometimes it's the offensive lineman who isn't as physically impressive but consistently handles his assignment. At some point, Auburn has to prioritize production over potential. That also creates questions about the people responsible for constructing this roster. Andrew Warsaw is discussed as part of that conversation because of his role in personnel, but the bigger question is about Auburn’s entire decision making process. Learn more about your ad choices.
