Auburn's Defensive Talent Problem Is Getting UGLY!

Auburn football has a serious problem on the defensive side of the ball, and after watching LSU move up and down the field against the Tigers, it's getting harder to ignore what's happening under defensive coordinator DJ Durkin. For years, Auburn fans could count on the defense to keep the Tigers competitive, even when the offense struggled. But this season, that championship level defensive identity has started to disappear. And the biggest question isn't just about scheme. On this episode of the Auburn Express Weekend Tailgate, Mike Gittens and Dustin from the Up Tempo Podcast dig into the problems with Auburn's defensive personnel, recruiting evaluations, transfer portal decisions, and player development.
