Jacob Trouba of the New York Rangers, Gold Medal Team USA vs Team Canada women's preview & Toffoli trade to open the flood gates ahead of the deadline

On this edition of the Athletic Hockey Show USA, Craig Custance and Sean Gentille welcome New York Rangers defensemen Jacob Trouba. Trouba joined the boys from Florida, when the Rangers were on an extended break after the all-star game and touches on the magical season for the blueshirts, including fantastic play from Chris Kreider, Adam Fox, Artemi Panarin, K'Andre Miller and Igor Shesterkin and he compares head coach Gerard Gallant to the great Ted Lasso.

Custance and Gentille look ahead to the Gold Medal game between the Canadian women and Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and discuss the Habs trade of Tyler Toffoli to Calgary which kicks off, hopefully, an active trade deadline for the NHL and we deep dive into our comments section in the best segment of the week!
