September 6, 1998: Galactic Center 2012 - John Major Jenkins

John Major Jenkins presents his research into the Mayan calendar and its prediction of a major transformation event occurring around 2012 related to galactic center alignment. His extensive study of Mayan astronomy and calendar systems reveals sophisticated understanding of galactic cycles and their relationship to consciousness evolution and planetary transformation. Jenkins discusses the astronomical basis for Mayan calendar calculations while examining how ancient civilizations possessed advanced knowledge about cosmic cycles that modern science is only beginning to understand. He explores the significance of the galactic alignment occurring around 2012 and its potential effects on Earth's magnetic field, solar activity, and human consciousness development. The conversation covers Mayan prophecies about consciousness evolution and how the 2012 transition might facilitate enhanced human awareness and spiritual capabilities. Jenkins addresses the connections between astronomical cycles and consciousness development while examining how cosmic influences might affect both individual and collective human evolution. His research reveals how ancient cultures integrated astronomical knowledge with spiritual understanding to create sophisticated systems for tracking consciousness evolution and planetary transformation cycles. The discussion explores practical implications of the 2012 transition for contemporary life while examining how understanding cosmic cycles can provide guidance for navigating transformation periods. Jenkins' work demonstrates how ancient knowledge about galactic cycles can inform contemporary understanding of consciousness evolution while providing framework for understanding approaching transformation events that might affect human civilization and development.
