December 7, 1995: Remote Viewing - Maj. Ed Dames

Major Ed Dames (U.S. Army retired), former training officer for the military's psychic espionage programs, breaks his silence about government remote viewing operations in response to CIA disinformation campaigns. Dames, who helped create and run classified programs including Sunstreak, Grill Frame, Center Lane, Stargate, and ScanNate over 28 years, reveals the true scope and effectiveness of psychic intelligence gathering. He explains how his unit operated under charter from multiple intelligence agencies including the DIA, NSA, and military intelligence services to provide psychic surveillance of foreign targets. The conversation addresses recent ABC Nightline coverage of remote viewing, with Dames correcting misinformation and revealing classified applications beyond what has been publicly disclosed. Dames discusses his unit's impressive accuracy rates and the strategic advantages gained through psychic intelligence that conventional methods could not obtain. The show also covers NASA's Galileo probe mission to Jupiter, examining the successful atmospheric entry and potential for discovering life in the planet's water-vapor layers. Dames provides insider perspective on how remote viewing technology was actually developed and used, contrasting sharply with the CIA's recent attempts to downplay the program's effectiveness and strategic value for national security applications.
