April 10, 1997: Reincarnation - Elizabeth Clare Prophet

Elizabeth Clare Prophet explores the hidden teachings of Christianity and their connection to reincarnation. As a mystic and messenger for Ascended Masters, Prophet reveals how the doctrine of reincarnation was deliberately removed from Christianity at the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. for purposes of religious control. She discusses her own spiritual awakening that began in college with an out-of-body experience that led her on a quest to discover the missing mystical elements of Jesus's teachings. Prophet explains that reincarnation was stripped from Christian doctrine because religious authorities feared losing their ability to control followers through fear of death and damnation. Instead of salvation through church hierarchy, she teaches that individuals can achieve spiritual advancement through the eternal flame burning within their own hearts. Drawing from her extensive body of work including over 1,800 spiritual messages and 75 published books, Prophet presents evidence that Christianity originally included reincarnation as a fundamental teaching before being corrupted by political and religious interests seeking temporal power over spiritual truth.
