Although originally born in Los Angeles, Edgar Sandoval spent most of his childhood in Central and South America. As a young adult, chasing a dream of a better life, he came back to the United States with $50 and everything he owned in a duffel bag. His incredible story finds him making aggressive move after aggressive move—from enrolling in a prestigious school, to leading a society-impacting ad campaign, to giving up his steady job to combat global poverty.
