Today we are talking about habit #1 to help you build an even better business, which is to Get Up Early. The saying ‘the early bird gets the worm’ comes right into perspective. Many successful entrepreneurs have a habit of waking up early. Early in this context means 4.00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. Waking up that early helps you get your mind in working order. When the rest of the world is asleep, this time slot helps you focus your mind and have a clear view of your day. The challenge with waking up early is if you are not a “morning person”. To gain this habit, go to bed early and set the alarm to wake up at your desired time. You may hit the snooze button regularly when you start, but you’ll get up earlier most times. You want to strive for 7-8 hours of sleep every night, so adjust accordingly. Do this until your body gets used to waking up at that time. Eventually, you won’t need to set the alarm because your internal clock will wake you up. Tune in tomorrow for habit #2 to help you build a better business.
