DOJ Probes BLM: Where Did the Millions Go plus Comey "‘I Didn’t Lie! I Was Confused by Cruz’s Questions"

🔍 1. Black Lives Matter (BLM) Investigation:

• The Department of Justice (DOJ) is reportedly investigating the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation and other affiliated organizations for potential fraud.
• The investigation centers on whether BLM leaders misused tens of millions of dollars donated during the 2020 racial justice protests following the death of George Floyd.
• Allegations include the purchase of a $6 million Los Angeles property using donated funds.
• BLM leaders deny wrongdoing and claim they are not targets of any federal criminal investigation.
• The probe reportedly began under the Biden administration but is receiving renewed attention under Donald Trump’s presidency, aligning with his campaign promise of “accountability.”
• The investigation is being run out of the Central District of California, though the top prosecutor there was recently disqualified from several cases.

🔍 2. James Comey Indictment and Motion to Dismiss:

• Former FBI Director James Comey is seeking to have charges of lying to Congress dismissed.
• His legal team argues that Senator Ted Cruz’s questions during a 2020 Senate hearing were too long and confusing, making Comey’s answers “literally true” despite being misleading.
• The charges stem from Comey’s denial of authorizing leaks to the media, which prosecutors claim is false.
• The defense claims the questions were ambiguous and that Comey’s statements were not intentionally deceptive.
• The case involves references to Andrew McCabe, Daniel Richman, and Hillary Clinton, with Richman allegedly being the person Comey authorized to leak information.
• The commentary mocks Comey’s defense, suggesting it portrays him as either dishonest or incompetent.
