Tour Catch-Up: Indian Wells preview, neutral Russians and Murray-Lendl 3.0

In the latest episode of The Passing Shot, the tennis podcast by fans, Joel and Kim wrap up last week’s tennis which saw Davis Cup qualifiers take place as well as enthralling 3 set tussles to determine the winners of the WTA Monterrey and Lyon events.

Joel and Kim reflect on the Brazilian crowd’s treatment of Zverev, Svitolina’s stand to the WTA Tour, Yastremska’s inspired run to the final in Lyon as well as covering the coaching news from the ATP Tour, with Andy Murray rehiring Ivan Lendl and Novak Djokovic parting ways with Marian Vajda.

They also look ahead to Indian Wells; discuss Ash Barty’s withdrawal, how Medvedev will fare as the new world no.1 and who their picks are to take home the titles next weekend.

Kim delights in the recent good form of Caroline Garcia whilst Joel tests Kim and the listeners with a 2004 themed Par For The Court throwback!
