The Tour Catch-Up: Rome No.10 for Nadal after Djokovic battle; Double-bagel Swiatek stuns Pliskova; Murray skips French Open; Osaka leads Olympics uncertainty; Federer back in Geneva; Barty + Halep injury doubts

In the latest episode of The Passing Shot, the tennis podcast by fans, Joel and Kim round up all the action from the Italian Open which saw current Roland Garros champions Rafa Nadal and Iga Swiatek both take home the titles in very different fashions.

Whilst Swiatek double bagelled Karolina Pliskova in lightening quick speed, Rafa Nadal had to overcome long time rival Novak Djokovic in 3 sets to claim his 10th Rome Title. With close defeats for Shapovalov and Tsitsipas, home hope Sonego reaching the semis, injury concerns for Barty and Halep, and a lacklustre return to court for Serena Williams, Joel and Kim debate all the key talking points from this week’s event.

They also discuss Yastremska’s latest appeal against her doping ban, the uncertainty surrounding the Tokyo Olympics and Andy Murray’s decision not to play Roland Garros this year.

Par for the Court is also back, with Joel testing Kim on some niche Murray trivia!
