The French Open Catch-Up: Round Three - Federer fights; Sabalenka stunned; Big 3 vs. Italy; Sloane Stephens delight; Medvedev finds clay mojo; CAS update; Grass season begins!

In the latest episode of The Passing Shot, the tennis podcast by fans, Joel and Kim roundup the key talking points from the 3rd round at Roland Garros.

They debate Federer’s late night tussle with Dominik Koepfer and whether Federer will now remain in the tournament or withdraw; discuss 3rd seed Aryna Sabalenka succumbing to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and being bagelled in the 3rd, and delight in Sloane Stephens making a resurging run to the 4th round.

Joel and Kim reflect on the Sinner v Nadal, and Musetti v Djokovic 4th round match ups, consider how dominant Iga Swiatek could be on clay and how Sofia Kenin is right where she likes to be heading into the second week of a Slam.

They also preview the start of the long-awaited grass court season, with tournaments in Nottingham and Stuttgart coming up!
