The Aus. Open Catch-Up: Semi-Finals - Medvedev Marches On; Djokovic ends Karatsev run; Osaka stops Serena's 24 slams quest; Brady beats Muchova; Sabalenka-Mertens doubles split; Is Joe Salisbury Britain's no. 1 doubles player?

In the latest episode of The Passing Shot, the tennis podcast by fans, Joel and Kim roundup the action from the semi finals of the Australian Open.

They discuss Osaka’s outclassing of Serena Williams and whether Serena will ever have an answer for her again, and look ahead to whether Jen Brady can pull off the almost impossible and end Osaka’s 20 match win streak come Saturday’s final.

They also reflect on the men’s semis, with straight sets wins for both Djokovic and Medvedev, setting up a tantalising final pitting history against form.

With wins for Mertens and Sabalenka, Dylan Alcott and Joel’s favourite De Koot, they also round up results from the other events, and revel in Joe Salisbury’s rise to become British Doubles Numero Uno ahead of his Men’s Doubles Final.
