Aus. Open Catch-Up: Semi-Finals - Nadal magic, breezy Barty and a Medvedev meltdown

In the latest episode of The Passing Shot, the tennis podcast by fans, Joel and Kim catch up on all the semi final action from the 2022 Australian Open.

With home favourite Ash Barty on course to make history down under, Joel and Kim reflect on the ease of her semi final victory over Madison Keys and assess whether Danielle Collins can continue her strong form demonstrated against Iga Swiatek and pose a threat come Saturday’s final.

They also look back on Rafa Nadal and Daniil Medvedev’s 4 set victories over Mateo Berrettini and Stefanos Tsitsipas respectively, and assess who is most likely to walk away with another Grand Slam title on Sunday in a final many predicted after Novak Djokovic’s deportation.
