Happy Birthday America! One of my fondest memories lives in an old photo my mother took when I was in third grade and my sister was in first. At the end of the year, our school had a field day. They made it into a celebration of the Bicentennial that year. We all dressed up in period costumes and the school had a field full of activities and food.
