Bobby Kennedy and me

The summer of 1964 was an interesting time for me. I marched with Martin Luther King, and I got into a knife fight without a knife, and a gunfight without a gun. (God kept me alive for some reason!) I also met Bobby Kennedy. I was his waiter at the Mayflower Hotel when the Democrat Convention was going on at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Bobby Kennedy gave me a pass to the convention.
