Kris Baker Talks Bills, Pop Culture References, The Masters & More

On this episode of the future award-winning Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran has a chat with recurring guest and buddy Kris Baker revolving around the Buffalo Bills sitting at 7-2, leading to a fun exercise of pop culture references highlighting the last time the Bills were in this position back in 1993. What femme fatale was Drew Barrymore portraying the last time the Bills won seven of their first nine games? What movie starring Charlie Sheen and Keifer Sutherland reigned at the box office? What iconic sitcom was battling for the top of the Nielsen TV ratings? What great cop TV was in its infancy? What mainstream diva had two songs on the Billboard Top 10 at the same time? All these and more are discussed during this episode. They also spend some time discussing the Masters going on this week instead of April because of Covid and Tiger Woods’ incredibly promising opening round. Bonus fun fact; Kris has FORTY SIX Fan Duel golf lineups for this tournament. Before that, Patrick opens by commenting on the recent passing of iconic TV game show host Alex Trebek as well as the ongoing incredible generosity of the BillsMafia fan base when it comes to charitable actions.
