EP 04: Dorin Dickerson, Former NFL Tight End

On this week’s episode of the Moran-Alytics Podcast, Patrick Moran has a very revealing interview with former NFL/Buffalo Bills tight end and current part-time sports talk radio show host in Pittsburgh, Dorin Dickerson (8:10). They discuss the very personal and often offensive nature of NFL combine interviews, Dickerson’s 2012 season with the Buffalo Bills filled with uninspiring team meetings that left some players wondering if they were playing for a paycheck or a playoff spot, why he hid suffering a concussion during 2013, a promising career in radio and much more. Then Tone Pucks jumps aboard the pod for his weekly “Pat With Pucks” segment (44:00) to talk extensively about the Buffalo Bills and the NFL in wake of an extremely eventful football week. The episode winds down with its weekly podcast awards: Terrible Tweets to a douchebag Miami Dolphins reporter, LVP to one of Patrick’s favorite TV shows ever and MVP to a (prequel) movie long overdue.
