Casual Friday: Bills & Sabres Talk Plus Christmas Songs Draft

It’s Casual Friday on Talking Buffalo Podcast, which means Patrick Moran is joined by Noted Hockey author, sports media personality and friend Joe Yerdon to discuss a variety of topics, including the goaltending issues plaguing the Buffalo Sabres, looking ahead to a hugely important Buffalo Bills game next Monday night, a “Starting Five’ draft of Best Christmas songs and much more. The Sabres have suffered from poor goaltending and it’s part of the reason the Sabres continue to sink in the standings. Joe discusses that as well as Tage Thompson’s continuing emergence, excitement around Owen Power and the return of Casey Mittelstadt. The guys also preview next Monday’s big clash between the Bills and New England Patriots with first place on the line and why Patrick thinks at least for this game, the Bills are in better shape going into Monday than they were going into New Orleans on Thanksgiving, even without Tre White. They also have a discussion about a few bars on Elmwood avenue, a five-round draft of Christmas song favorites and plenty more!
