Eric Slick with Dominic Angelella

Eric Slick (Dr. Dog, Lithuania) and Dominic Angelella (Lithuania) are hardcore “Danatics” — that is, Steely Dan fanatics. This summer, the guys stopped by Samsung 837 in New York City for a live Talkhouse Music Podcast. They nerded out and got very deep in explaining their “DanVinci Code” theory, which Slick expounded upon in his previous Talkhouse piece. Oh! And fellow Danatics take note: Slick and the Talkhouse have teamed up to throw a Steely Dan tribute show at Shea Stadium in Brooklyn on October 8, featuring covers by Lithuania, Ian Sweet, Mikey Erg, Slonk Donkerson, Twiga and Bad Faces.
