ToC Short Sessions: An Alabama insider’s perspective of new Ole Miss CB Trey Amos

The portal continues to deliver reinforcements for Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss football Rebels.

Sure, their consensus Top 3 transfer class has taken some hits. But Ole Miss is more than making up for the losses, including such recent additions as Alabama cornerback Trey Amos.

Amos committed to Ole Miss over the weekend as a potential plug-and-play replacement for one of Deantre Prince or Zamari Walton. Prince and Walton were the Rebels’ starting cornerbacks last season. Ole Miss won 11 games for the first time ever, capped by a blowout of Penn State in the Peach Bowl.

Travis Reier of BamaOnline.com joins this edition of Talk of Champions: Short Sessions, presented by College Corner, to break down what the Rebels are getting in Amos, as well as the Rebels’ improvement and continued growth under second-year defensive coordinator Pete Golding, formerly of Alabama.
