Ole Miss baseball snap judgments with hitting coach Mike Clement

Ole Miss baseball has won six of its first seven games, including a three-game sweep of lowly Eastern Kentucky over the weekend.

The Rebels gave up seven combined runs over three days, the fewest in a series in two years. They finished with a collective 2.33 ERA to go along with 42 strikeouts and a .177 opponent batting average.

Long-time Rebel hitting coach Mike Clement joins this Monday, February 24 edition of ‘Talk of Champions’ to provide some key takeaways and snap judgements from the hot start. Ole Miss has been more powerful than Clement expected early on, Hunter Elliott has looked himself, Hayden Federico has sparked the lineup and the switch to Joel Mangrum as pitching coach is already paying off.
