“He was King Kong out there”: How Jaxson Dart took the lead in the Ole Miss QB race

We (unofficially) have a leader in the Ole Miss quarterback race.

USC transfer Jaxson Dart (16-20, 248 yards, two touchdowns) stood out from the pack in the Rebels' first full-team, game-like scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday.

Not that Luke Altmyer (14-20, 124 yards, no touchdowns, one interception) and Kinkead Dent (7-7, 62 yards, two touchdowns) face-planted.

No, Dart was just better.

Ben Garrett and David Johnson have the full report in the latest edition of Franchise Player, a site-crossover podcast of the Ole Miss Spirit (On3) and Inside the Rebels (247). They also hand out some helmet stickers to a few other scrimmage top-performers.

Let's get after it.
